Reflections
As I walk down the devious by lanes of the phenomenon called life, grabbing a few things, leaving a few others behind, I sometimes feel wistful when I look back. The paths I walked down may look untrodden, dubiously unmarked by the signs of a passer-by. I probably can't do anything about it, but what I could do is to capture some otherwise futile moments that took my breath away. What could be better than sharing those moments with you?

Note: This trek involves a little bit of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) and in some case HAPE and HACE too may occur. Although there are good and comfortable lodges along the entire trek route, beginners should be a little careful if initial signs of AMS are visible. We met a few people enroute who suffered from the sickness and decided to return. For experienced trekkers and climbers, this trek is a fairly easy one.

Isle of Skye and Scottish Highlands
View atop the ridge that shadows the Quiraing.
The Quiraing from top of the ridge. You can see only "The Table". "The Prison" and "The Needle" are hidden behind the Table. Our walk started at the bottom of the Quiraing and we circled around it to climb the top of the ridge and walk back to the starting point. A good 5-6 hours walk.
The full moon on the Christmas Eve.
The Duntulm Castle. We tried another walk starting here but had to abort our plan because of extremely strong northern gusts. We were not able to stand let alone walk in some 70-80 mph gusts.
